When our son, Jeremy, was diagnosed with stage 3 intermediate-risk neuroblastoma in 2015, The Dragonfly Foundation (TDF) was there for us from the very beginning. During that terrifying first week in the hospital, they gave us a bag of essentials like deodorant, shampoo, and laundry detergent—items we didn't even realize we’d need. They also surprised Jeremy with a package of toys after we returned home, helping to brighten his days as we began the tough journey of chemotherapy and inpatient stays.

TDF’s mission to bring comfort and joy to young patients and their families is truly lived out in everything they do. They’ve wrapped our family in love and support, providing opportunities to escape the chaos of cancer treatment through countless events like RedsFests, Christmas parties, circus outings, summer celebrations, and even meeting Cincinnati sports legends.

One of my favorite memories was when TDF opened The Landing just for us during the holidays, even though it was supposed to be closed. Hannah, one of their amazing team members, recognized us and said, "I saw you and knew you're only in town for a few days, so we just knew we needed to let you in to play!" Jeremy was over the moon to ride in his favorite truck that day.

TDF has been a steady source of encouragement and normalcy for our family through every step of Jeremy's treatment and remission. They remind us that we’re never alone in this journey. Their unwavering support, positivity, and kindness have truly made them feel like a second family. I can’t say enough good things about this incredible organization. They’ve blessed us in so many ways and continue to do so even today.

If you're looking for a nonprofit to support or a resource for families facing pediatric cancer or bone marrow transplants, The Dragonfly Foundation is absolutely worth your time and heart. They’ve changed our lives for the better. ❤

My 14 year old son, Noah, was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 11. The hospital social worker gave us contact information for the Dragonfly Foundation. At first, I did not contact them thinking I did not have time for anything else in my life. When I did contact them, I felt immediately that I was "with friends". My family has gotten so much support. We've gone on outings. We've made new friends who understand what it is like to have a child with cancer. I hope your life is NEVER TOUCHED by Pediatric cancer, but if it is, join us!
