Any group that is a group that my uncle Gordon Bush is a member of is all right with me. I am traveling and so cannot attend a memorial to Gordon that is being held there and hope that someone might pick this up and read it for me. You never know where a good seed will be planted and Gordon was that. That he and Reola found each other is one of the wonders and mysteries that I love. They were BOTH good and admirable people. Their unquestioned care for a son who would have been called "an idiot" in the old days is demonstration enough. But there is so much more. I knew that they both loved me and I love them as well. Gordon is a man of the "greatest generation" those who kept their word and to whom a handshake meant something. Though he grew up in a small town in which gossip can be common, I am sure that his head was never turned by such non-sense. He will be missed personally but also as a type of man that is passing away; the good honest man.
