No exaggeration I got better help and more friendly people from the DMV. The woman at this place is unbelievably rude and even a simple thing like receiving donated clothes is like torture for her. This place can do better than to have people like her representing them.

Hopes closet is NOT consignment. And the woman owner is very very unkind. I use to donate all the time. The man is kind but the woman works in the store. High priced. She doesn't keep her word and after donating hundreds of dollars of nice things, the gentleman that is part owner said they would honor my punch card and the woman practically called me a lier. To bad for her now. I had 17 dresses in the size they most need to donate. Not gonna happen now.

Horrible manager and not kid friendly. I’ve been a few times. Never have I been greeted by anyone. Have something that doesn’t work? Put a sign and don’t blame the customer.
Ever had an experience that just doesn’t sit well and still think about months later? That was my experience. And upset still that my child was the one being targeted! It’s a child!
In my interaction with her, she called my child a lie and she was also upset I didn’t purchase something. I didn’t find anything to my liking and prices were not great for items that are used. I saw a target dollar item that said $3 or $5 marked up to $7. Like wth! You get new items for cheaper with deals elsewhere.
Never donating here again and never recommending this place to anyone. Treat your customers better. You’re a used goods store not a boutique!

DO NOT DONATE HERE!!! They up price everything 10x more than a normal thrift store. They were reselling strollers for 800 dollars! nothing was even SLIGHTLY affordable. Donate to your local goodwill or thrift stores if you actually want to help people in need! None of this is affordable

This is a wonderful consignment store but at times I have felt that I’ve contributed so much, hundreds of dollars worth of items, and have been treated rudely by one employee in particular when it comes to punch cards and reimbursements. She gave my punch card back to the wrong lady and when I said how many punches I had she questioned me as if I was exaggerating my discount level. The discount card stamp saved me a whopping $4 after contributing so much so her attitude felt so petty. Then I bought a baby Brezza that I was told was new and it didn’t work and the same employee very rudely told me in certain words tough luck and hurried me off the phone. I told myself to consider it a donation but I donate so much already that her behavior is making me rethink my energy spent here. In sum, don’t buy electronics that are expensive purchases because you won’t be reimbursed if something is wrong with them. Otherwise in general, I recommend Hope’s closet.

I had bought many toys for my son here. This month I bought a kitchen I should pick up soon, but I got sick and for weeks I was not able to picking it up. I’m low income single mother so what we need is support. I got a voicemail form Shelly asking me to pick it up or she would consider as a donation. I got very angry because I’m recovering and she said in very mean way. I asked for my money back and she said no. So, where is really the help for low income families. I don’t think this is showing that kind of support.
