I have been on the waiting list for 11 years they sent me s ✉️ not to long ago and said I was approved and s few days later said they put me back on the list now I'm having eviction because I informed my land lady I would be moving and then I told her I would not be moving she decided not to continue my lease,! Now I will be homeless because of them I'm disabled and 63 and they screwed me!

If I could give them NO stars I would. My Aunt tried to update the apartments I HAD on my waitlist, and was unable to do so. When she called, they told her that the apartment’s I had on said list are no longer available. This is the 2nd year in a row this has happened. Anyhow, my Aunt has had to put apartments that weren’t on the original documents.. so, I’ve had to start the waiting process all over again. Not being able to update apartments is nonsensical, seeing that it takes at least 5 years of waiting to even be able to get a voucher. And yes, we are required to update said list. Im not going through this BS next year. Today I had to let my Aunt know that we aren’t going through this anymore:( .

My experience with Indio housing Authority was a wonderful and very Professional in the way they Attended people. Coming from the Inland Empire Riverside where I didn't receive any help except being referred to the Miisions during Cov-19 I was fearful due to my medical condition my decision was die or survive that Lead me to the Desert Empire Indio Housing Riverside County. They Served me Fast and Rapidly from taking me out of being homeless to where they help me attain my own and affordable Apartment Thank You Indio Housing Riverside County.

A worker helped me fill out paperwork but I guess she missed some stuff. I have turned into her via email 9 of my husbands pay checks and no one answers the phone. Now we are being threatened to have our application removed. I have no car. I'm disabled and my workers vm are full plus she hardly ever answers my emails. She could have told me that my application was not done correctly. Did she? No she has never once said anything about it.

The most awful and worst service. They kept asking for more and more information. They take many days off and kept delaying the process, week after week. They wouldn't communicate with me about the status. There needs to be improvements because they had no sympathy for us. If they could, they would leave us homeless. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Neal Wilson was my last worker. He raised my rent so high I couldn't afford my electric bill. So I didn't pass inspection. I lost my apartment. But I didn't get evicted. Then he got karma. He has done it to other people for 20 years. I don't trust them anymore

I have been giving the run around and inconsistent information from housing specialist and not helpful at all . Just throw me and my family to the side like notthing. Been discriminated against and retailated against due to prior issues with an now supervisor who was a then worker on my case back when . They need better customer service and need to understand that we the clients is why they have a job and they should treat us better than they do but there are always someone high up and i will keep reaching until i get to someone that is going to assist and resolve the problem .
