This is a very large and nice park. It has a walking path that goes around the park, small fishing pond, shelter house, playground equipment, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a nature trail in the woods that the South Fork Licking River goes through, restrooms and plenty of parking.

Large clean park, felt safe. Lot of families. Video below my 3 grand daughters all age 2 while at the park. Fun day.

We went to the park for a 4th of July celebration. There is lots of open space for playing and a decent playground. They have a working concession stand, which was really nice as most parks don't anymore. Parking was hard that day but I am sure that was due to the holiday. I imagine on a regular day it is more than adequate. There are also several entrances and separate parking at each, which I also really like. This was the first time I had been here, but I will be back to check it out again.

Just took my dog there for the first time. I like big open areas so I can keep my distance from other dogs since some people like to treat all parks like an off leash park when it’s not. This is a nice park with a lot of space and I like the path around the perimeter. I didn’t go in to the wooded area since my dog doesn’t like other dogs I didn’t want to be on a path without room to move. I like they had poop bags and trash bins all over even though I bring my own bags. I’m only taking a star off because a sign says it is open from 8am to sunset. I like to go around sunrise when I walk my dog. I don’t know how much that is actually enforced and I’ll keep going earlier but I think parks should be open at least from dawn to dusk.

This is a great location for youth baseball and soccer. We started a new baseball team this year and were fortunate enough to secure a field here at the park. So far I believe our expectations have been met, if not exceeded.

My husband regularly takes two of our large Newfoundland girls to area parks and this is a favorite. I join them when I can and I have some mobility issues but trails are maintained so that I can accompany them with the help of a cane. I have left one star off because of two things. It is a little difficult to access with nearby road closure and I have noticed an increase of trash. I use our poop bags to collect candy wrappers and cigarette butts when we are out and that is something that is a newer problem. We go to Spring Valley and Infirmary as well and the park goers there are better stewards of the environment.
