Me and my wife just bought a house in Arcanum. I was expecting an unpleasant experience after reading the reviews, but the staff was very helpful and polite when I went in for a fence permit. Marcus was very helpful, and quickly got my permit, the reason I came in, approved. Nice people and a nice little town.

Went to pay my utility bill and they had to give me change. The guy got rude because he had to open up the new roll of pennies to get my change. I told him if it was such a big deal he could just keep the few pennies and he got even more rude and said he couldnt do that. How mature for a man to act because he had to give change. At least the lady that works there isnt rude like him.

I learned my lesson with Arcanum Light & Power by purchasing a battery backup for my PC. You can't depend on uninterrupted power here. And just try calling them, the phone rings once then disconnects. And who ever is responsible for billing doesn't include their delivery fees. Unbelievable.

Rude and very unprofessional office staff and village administrator. It's a shame our little town has went downhill over the last few years. Just watch the local news or newspaper. Nothing positive in the headlines! I've never seen more rude and unprofessional people in my life! Services keep going up but what are we getting in return? Sure see alot of employees doing a lot of nothing last few years!

How many times this week is the power going to flick on and off? Twice daily for several days straight. Knocks out cable, internet, dishwasher, dryer every day!!! Unacceptable. We need other options for service in van buren township.

Location has moved. Polite staff . Can not pay with credit card at location. Online payments accepted . Easy to understand billing . No wheelchair access . Service Dog friendly.
