A friend of mine has a very dumb, but sweet, dog that got out and Animal Control found him. My friend is in the hospital and all he cares about is his dog. They were so sweet and gentle with 'Smokey'. I was really impressed. The facility is clean and well organized and obviously run by professionals. They clearly care about their mission. Smokey is laying on the couch next to me as it write this, completely oblivious to the people who kept him safe. On behalf of my friend I say thank you. Highly recommended!

My friends took four kittens to the shelter Becuase they old friend asked them too. They euthanized the kittens, after my friends played with them the whole way there. They told them they had to be euthanized when they asked for them back they refused. Saying they were too young to be away from their mother. We still haven’t gotten any response back asking if we could take them back. Aside from that the old lady with short hair was very rude to them adding on top of the fact their kittens where on their way to euthanization I ask people to avoid using this shelter as much as possible, Becuase they will euthanized them.

I love our Animal Control officers! They do the best they can within the limits of the law. They also do a wonderful job adopting out shelter pets. They need the public support to get funding and to protect more animals. Remember if you see something say something. Animal Control can’t help if they don’t know what is happening. 🥰

This facility was so wonderful when helping us with the adoption of our kittens! The staff went above and beyond and even let us come when they were closed to let us meet our fur babies. Thank you so much for all you do for the animals of Beaufort County!

I had to take a beagle, sweet real loving pup. I have 2 jealous German shepherd. I have had 2 heart attacks,so I called them with?s and they answered all my inquiries. I didn't want him put to sleep,so I called my vet ask them more?s.called the shelter back their, vet said my dogs needed training. They said ok and they agreed with me. I will be calling to check up on him.

The attitude of the older lady with very short hair is unprofessional. she’s rude to her coworkers and she was rude from the start to my wife and I. We had to take our dog there because we didn’t have time for it anymore. I just really hope they take care of the dog.

They turn me the victim into a suspect. I will be posting pictures. They are covering for the lying animal control officer that came out. Claimed I had a gun and was pointing it at people. I called the sheriff they came out and patted me down in my front yard. Refused my complaint and treated me as the suspect with a gun. Multiple neighbors out in their yards trying to make complaints about the dogs trying to attack their children. Animal control claimed I was the aggressor. This place just needs to be CLOSED permanently. At the very least needs new staff.
