My family and I attended Southbrook for about 6 Sundays. The preaching was fine and the children's ministry was excellent. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the worship/praise portions of the service. It seemed as if you were at a concert. A large focus is on the band and production.

This church must pay off the sheriff's department because they seem to prioritize the church traffic over actual ROAD traffic. Fine, you need help getting out of the parking lot - but the sheriffs -- PUBLIC servants -- should be prioritizing road traffic first rather than letting 3-5 cars pass before stopping to let 30 cars out of the church parking lot.

Also, this "non denominational" (i.e. hard right Baptist origins) church is one of the ones that you can say "No hate like Christian love" as an overall descriptor - anti women, anti LGBTQ. FYI, pastors at Southbrook -- there is male nor female, no Jew nor Gentile: all are one in Christ. sons AND DAUGHTERS shall prophesy.

We have been attending for almost two years. We really love this church. The preaching is very biblically sound. We have enjoyed getting plugged in the church community. We also really appreciate that there are opportunities to get involved as a family. We did our first family mission trip this summer and each one of our family members were able to get involved. We feel like Shane does a great job at leading the church and we LOVE his preaching. But I don’t want to overlook the other pastors at the church, everyone contributes here to make the church operate as successfully as it does. Amber does a phenomenal job leading the kids. Our kids have really grown in their spiritual walk. Come check out our church!

SB fosters a personable community that teaches from the bible. but being queerphobic and preaching against the acceptance of trans and gay people (among patriarchal complementarianism) is Uncool, actually. if you're into that kind of thing though this would be a great church for you! (:

Amazing church! When our family went thru the most harden moments the members of the church always praying for us and they always were right there with us. Amazing lead pastor. He teaches the truth from the bible always and talk about subject that we need to hear to become better followers in Christ.

After Church hopping for years when we arrived back from Missionary work overseas, we finally landed here for many reasons. Pastor Shane Freeman is one of the best pastors around (a bold claim with so many fantastic pastors in this area). His teaching is far more in depth and really keeps you engaged and thinking. He also has a great voice and oration of his teachings that helps you feel as if you want to learn more. The music can be a little loud at times but there is a good balance of faster paced songs and slower songs. The music is good and pertains in odd ways to the teaching that you wont see until after which is pretty cool. I hope you come and give Soutbbrook a try. It really is a wonderful place where God is most definitely at work changing lives.

Love our church home! Genuine people who love God and want to make a big deal of Jesus where they live, work, and play. Amazing children's ministry! Lots of small group opportunities & serves the community well.

Consistently great service and the kids love the children's church. They always come out with crafts, activities and lessons that they learned that morning. My oldest looks forward to going back every week. The staff and volunteers are friendly and welcoming.
