Staff is kind and they keep the gym area clean. Lately there's been lots of changes in the gym. They have removed some older equipment that some people are missing... and replaced it with 3 squat racks? Makes no sense. They could have made better use with the space.

Kenai Recreation Center is a great place with wonderful staff. We are visiting my mother in law and needed a place to exercise. We tried another local gym that would have cost us an insane amount for the week but the management staff there never showed for the posted business hours; that’s how we found the Rec Center. It’s much cheaper and our middle and high school kids are free! The center is very clean and has everything you need to get a good workout among a full basketball court, racquet ball, pickle ball, and saunas in the locker rooms. This will definitely be our spot when visiting on the future. There is no commitment. You can pay a very affordable drop-in rate or buy a punch card. You won’t be able to find a better spot in the area.

Such a great place to bring your little for Tot time. They open up the gym and put out toddler friendly movement toys, bounce house, dress up clothes, slides and more. They also have a workout room, sauna and showers.

Very friendly staff and a great deal for families of any size. Places to exercise and play basketball with several events scheduled each week. Showers are warm, good pressure and cheap with an option to use a dry sauna in both men and women sides. Lockers are available so bring a lock for anything valuable.

I'm so happy that my kids have a safe place to go after school and during the weekends and Summer. They have a gym, weight room, basketball courts and an after school program. My boys love it!

Nice community center gym. Has a full free weight room as well as a separate cardiovascular room with treadmills stair climbers stationary bikes and a universal gym with nine stations. Has six additional workout stations for abs and back. Cost is $40 for 10 visits for $50 for a month.

This place has a lot of stuff for the community to do. Basketball, volleyball, racquetball, & so much more! The building could use a little upkeep but overall it was a great place for the community to get active. They also have opportunities for birthday parties and more.

I am from the lower 48 but I have been coming to Alaska for 7 years now. Almost every time I come I end up at the Rec Center. While all of the equipment is not the most up to date, I always feel that the staff and facility is great. The one star reduction is just due to the facility. The staff have always been awesome. It is a great place to come together with the community. Thanks Kenai Rec Center!
