Ok, I can't rave enough about this place! We need this so badly! I had no idea it even existed. We need more exposure for this amazing place and the amazing people working here! My mother recently had some huge needs arise, and this place came to the rescue. No questions asked. They were there and supported everything we needed. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The people there are so very nice!!
A man named Josh helped when I came to get a walker, he could not have been any more nice!! He was absolutely wonderful! I don't know what the man gets paid but he deserves a raise!!
I'm sure you will be treated just as good as I was if you do business with them! God bless them and the work they do!
Thank you Access Alaska!

This place is awesome, my family member is having some health challenges and mobility difficulties lately. I was able to grab a walker and a shower chair at no charge and he can borrow as long as he needs it. this place is such a great resource every town needs one. I believe the lady that helped me was named Jackie (sorry if wrong) she was super nice and helpful.

I'm giving them one star because that's as low as the system goes. Nice building, but don't judge a book by its cover. My wife was told over the phone that a wheelchair was available, until I went to pick it up! Then not only had they not heard of us, but the lady my wife spoke with, apparently, "no one by that name works here ". Anyway, no chair!

Highly recommend! We called to ask for a walker we needed to borrow for a friend who was staying with us while he was in town from rural AK for cancer treatment. They had one for us that same day. Thankful for such an efficient and responsive organization. We will be sure to return the equipment so that someone else can make use of it in the future.

My husband and I heard of Access Alaska Fairbanks when they were down town and my friend needed help as she was blind. They were wonderful.
We did not realize they moved to Pegar Road. Our friend at 55 and older apartments had fallen and could not put weight on his leg.
I remembered Access AK and called and I was directed to Joshua. I wondered if he had a motorized chair so our friend did not have to stay in bed. He said come on over take a look and make a donation. We found the one that was perfect. We have a real joyful happy camper who will take 6 or 7 weeks to heal per doc and the motorized vehicle is so perfect. Depression is gone. He is out and about. He will be able to use his walker again after healing.
A 96 year old man who uses a walker, saw the JOY of our friend. Joshua had one that needed batteries and needed tweeked. His son went over today and made a donation.. Now we have two happy camper.
We bought the third Motorized one because I see a special person who may be thrilled to be able to get around. We are thinking it will give us JOY to bless this 3rd special senior.
Thank you Joshua for your kindness to all of the Fairbanks Oldies but Goodies seniors.
Access Alaska blesses so many folks. While I was picking up ours...a guest to Alaska in their RV needed 2 items to help his wife who had to go to the hospital and needed a walker and shower chair. He was so happy Joshua showed him the items and told him no worries to just make donation. I think the Alaska guest could have hugged Joshua. It was a joy for this Alaskan to witness. Thanks again Joshua. He represents Access Alaska Fairbanks with grace and kindness.
Never be shy, just call and ask for anything you might need to assist you, your loved one or friend. It is amazing there must be 100z of items and one or two could be just what you need. Never give up.

You need to stop having your companies people harassing my mom, pulling up outside my house, taking photos. You never helped her leave her alone. You are trying to say you know what is best from my mom. All you want is government funding and money. Your company aims to control people's lives. All take advantage of the situation they are in. They is a disrespectful company to human nature.
