An actual local farmers market. Spread out on a park like parking lot at the civic center. Clouds broke and it became a beautiful January morning. Best food venders and so many choices made for shorter lines. Masterful produce, bakery’s stand out.

This is an old building that needs to have many upgrades. Im not feeling to good about not having a speedy trial due to the lack of court reporters. I think it may be time to consider this job for an AI record/transcriber. It would alleviate errors and would open more availability to the court but there would also be less expensive transcripts available within the hour of the last spoken word instead of days later. It's time for a reevaluation of our whole outdated court system. Too many lawyers rely on loopholes and cracks instead of the truth and impartial honesty. This is one area of society that could use some attention win or lose the system needs a refresh.

Liked Marin County Civic Center iconic architectural design that put the county Jail underground.
Liked the two Redwood Bikeshare Hubs, were U can rent an e-bike FREE for 30 minutes w/ a membership.
There is another Hub down the road at the SMART station .
Nice to know if U somehow get arrested.

If you saw the movie Gattaca, you saw this building. The Marin Civic Center is one of the few Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in California. Well worth a visit on a weekday when the municipal offices and public library are open. There’s also an exterior scenic overlook path that takes you to the balcony under the main dome that is spectacular. Highly recommend for those who are architecturally inclined.

It is an extraordinarily unique and interesting government center. Frank Lloyd Wright designed it with his principles of organic architecture to form amazing spaces and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape while bringing the outside into the building. The new roof repairs look blutiful.

LOVE the Marin County Civic Center designed by Frank Lloyd Wright! There’s a beautiful lake behind the Civic Center, a wonderful auditorium & a great library. This is Frank Lloyd Wright at his finest. Just don’t end up in the Marin County Jail! 😂

Beautiful building - helpful staff. It's a great Frank Lloyd Wright design, airy and spacious feeling with lots of natural light, repeating detail work, and great view. Typical of FLW's designs, it maximizes the environment around it, utilizing nature to compliment the architecture and offering stunning views.

This building houses a number of Marin County services, and my experiences here have always been good.

This is one of the weirdest government complex of buildings ever created. Yes, designed by the late, great Frank Lloyd Wright, and very "futuristic-looking" from the outside. It's actually a giant gerbil run with confusing long hallways, and difficult-to-find government offices and Court rooms. And a nice county Library. Insufficient elevators, escalators, and bathrooms. Poor ADA layout, difficult to find offices, with thousands of highly-paid government workers hiding out in their spaces and trying not to be found - lest they might have to do more "official" government work! Ghosts of past crimes, and historic events! Definitely a tourist location - a place for a good big hike! Just don't get lost in the labyrinth of it all! (And if you actually need to do some official government business or GO to COURT, allow plenty of time to find where you need to go!)
