Everything is great about this place!!!! ONLY downside is that they run on donations and they have to do so much work. MORE VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS in plus sizes and MODERN FASHION are desperately needed for all ages and genders/binaries!!!! They're geniuses, in my mind, for limiting amounts of what items a person can take, AND requiring a 30day cool down period before being eligible again... and on top of THAT, scheduling the next available appointment time must be within the week. This causes reduced "scheduling fraud" and no-call/no-shows, as well as weeding out those who don't REALLY NEED the resource or cant manage life and tasks well enough to take on more clothing than they can manage too. All appointments are scheduled by referral from an actual social worker, and must be completed by them, and are typically given to the clients on a "ticket" bearing the St. Anthony's logo, and signed/marked by the worker. If you are in need, please go to the free lunch, and ask at the front desk* to speak with a social worker, or to the St. Anthony's building that's on the other side, directly across Golden Gate Avenue.
*Can be found, located at the wheelchair accessible door... The door level with the sidewalk, not the side entry, up on the platform.

OMG! I love St. Anthony's clothing giveaway. I hadn't been there in awhile which was in my favor because I was eligible for several pieces of pants, long & short sleeve shirts. I came away with a lovely Ellen Tracy coat, new shoes, 4 pairs of pants & shirts to go with them all for free. It's the best deal in town!

St Anthony's provides so many great resources beyond the clothing. I opted to arrive early in the morning 6:30am to get in the same day. Highly recommended

Clothing donation opens Mon-Fri, 2-4pm; Sat 10am-4pm. Car traffic: enters through Leavenworth, ask the guy at the blockage to open up the road for you. Pull over right side to donation bin.

I'm a care provider and I had a client you had absolutely nothing. So I went to saint Anthony's they put me to the front of the line and allowed me to get this gentleman some much-needed clothing and jacket. God bless these people they're doing God's work. Sincerely Miss Kari d
