This place has great volunteer opportunities. It has a beautiful view of our ocean. I have volunteered a few times as well as attended some of their events, both equally educational. It's a fun place for the whole family. Some of their events are more informational than hands on so I suggest you check their website or sign up for emails to learn more about upcoming events. One thing I have noticed is that most staff won't communicate or acknowledge volunteers but there is an employee named Dorothy Cardenas who never fails to greet me and communicate effectively with me. Dorothy treats everyone respectfully and is always eager to teach us things about our ocean and sea life. I love that volunteer opportunities are open to humans of all ages. I hope to visit again this summer. Thank you Alta Sea and Dorothy for this opportunity!

The times I’ve been to Alta Sea I have been treated with respect the environment is great. The people are very nice and overall just amazing place and the scenery is great. I can’t wait till They finish their construction so I can visit more often!!

I enjoy it there's normally some great people there, and like grilling out there and the police drive through regularly, but sometimes you'll have that one or more but thats anywhere. The drains coming out of warehouse 1 with the gargoyles thats pretty cool to see.
