My pictures don’t describe what a great event location this is. We came for a wedding and it was well done top to bottom. Great scenery and the wait staff was even better. Highly recommend for any group gatherings

Just a beautiful place. The buildings there are absolutely nostalgic as they are old army barracks. They date back to World War II. A lot of wildlife in the area as well which only adds to the luster of this particular place. There was a wedding in progress there while we were there. So, obviously, somehow, or the other, you can rent a place to have a wedding in! With black and white photography, it would be hard to determine what year the wedding took place in. The buildings still look that old!

This used to be a fort and barracks. Now it is a place for art exhibits and displays. Some of the artists, while working on their displays, live on the premises. Here is one of the exhibits, at its start

Center is closed but the surrounding area is gorgeous and worth a stroll. Trail takes you from the parking lot to the beach and around the lagoon. Great vistas, beachwalk and wildlife sightings in a relatively small area. Bathrooms open at center or beach.

My sister had her wedding here. The center consists of a couple of old army barracks lovingly and artistically restored decades ago surrounded by foggy northern California coastal land. A very unique and beautiful environment very close to the bustle and grime of sf. Ill always remember my time there.

Extremely beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding, BUT you may want to consider the wind. Attended my niece's wedding here and vows were very difficult to hear due to the windy weather. (Not sure how often it's that windy, but I'm guessing often, based on it's proximity to the beach.) And an outdoor sound system (to help hear the vows) was 'not allowed' (maybe due to a local sound ordinance?).

Also, there is NO wheelchair accessibility to the upstairs wedding rooms.

Everything else was AMAZING though... FOOD, SERVICE, THE SETTING.
