I want to first say thank you to Yuba Sutter SPCA.
Not only did they promptly call to make sure I first caught the stray, they called a day before to confirm all details. The morning of our appointment, we showed up by 8am and waited in the car as instructed.

At about 8:10am they began taking information and took the stray in and called as soon as he was ready at 12:30 to pick up at 1:30.

It was less than $100 for stray neuter, rabies, and to get dewormer. My primary vet costs $68 just for a vet consult, so no complaints from me with pricing!!! I'd say they are exceptional, and I'd highly recommend.

Second, I want to address some of the other reviews. If you had to pay a bit more, it's probably because you didn't ask for your final total or you didn't pay attention to the website information.

All the staff were amazing and super friendly both on the phone and in person.

I will be coming here from now on! Grateful for this SPCA and cost efficiency to help the community!

Sylvester Whiskers is recovering very well and I cannot say thank you enough!

Everyone was absolutely friendly, compassionate and answered all my questions. They took really good care of our puppy. They went over all the instructions on his neutering and said if I had anymore questions to please give them a call. He’s handling the cone of shame very well. We put him in a shirt at night so he cannot lick his sutures. He’s healing very well! Thank you Yuba-Sutter SPCA for all you do!!!

These people are so awesome and are truly "a God send". I was homeless at the time my dog needed her shots but I couldn't afford them and when asked if I could possibly do volunteer work to cover the cost the woman I was talking to said "don't worry about it I'll pay for her shots so wait right here and I'll be back". She returned a few minutes later with the syringes and gave my dog her shots (at no cost to me) and we were on our way. I was truly blessed and these people truly are amazing.

A little hard to find since I'm not from the area but the experience was great. They were able to vaccinate my dog pretty quickly an the technicians that helped were super nice and considerate.

Got a mailer when it was time to come back for the next round of shots which was cool as I totally forgot when I was supposed to go back.

Very well kept shelter. Honestly one of the cleanest shelters I've been to. All the animals deserve a Home. I normally cry at these places but this one I didn't. And it's because looking at all the Dogs and cats they seemed like they could be adopted any second just by how well kept they were being inside the shelter. I really wanted to see Bullseye more but I'm pretty sure while I was petting him he got called over to meet a family 🙂

I took my dog in to be spayed. They were quick about getting her from my car. And when I picked her up they were super gentle with her and kind dealing with me.
