Last year my son age 9 went for the first time he loved it so we sent him again this summer .

He sent home a message saying he wanted to stay another week.

What a great feeling when your kiddo is gone for entire week . Thanks ymca family for making him feel at home and for a wonderful experience

We just spent 3 days here with our 7th grade class and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff and leadership are top notch and every single person I interacted with truly cared about ensuring the kids and parents had a great time. There wasn’t a kid who didn’t have a smile on their face the entire time.

Love this camp been going over 5 yrs I love it a great and wholesome place when I'm here I feel really connected with God and everyone around me a this place brought me out of my comfort zone and let me try new and fun things over the years I've made so many fun memories and lifelong friends I love this place

We found Camp Harrison through our cousins and decided to give it a try as my daughter's first sleep away camp experience (8yo). She absolutely loved it and we sent her brother at 7 the next year; this summer will be her 5th year and his 4th. They have a great variety of activities, wonderful counselors and staff, and the Christian element is present but not uncomfortable for my questioning kids. My favorite thing is seeing how much they grow from the independence and new challenges. They feel like it is home away from home.

My child had a fabulous experience again at Camp Harrison. She has been to many YMCA camps and this is her favorite one. The camp did a great job balancing safety and fun for the kids during the current COVID pandemic. It was wonderful and important to have kids experiencing the world again. Camp Harrison is a model camp and I highly recommend this camp to parents.

Have been here several times as part of a bluegrass music camp. The facilities are awesome! Clearly aimed at the younger crowd, but our mostly 40-70 years demographic has had no trouble adjusting. Each cabin has an attached bath/shower facility, and they allow tent and RV camping as well.

Our experience here has been unparalleled. Thanks to the wonderful staff, I expect this music camp will be here for many years to come!
