Stayed there for 2 days max. But for a place that claims to be Christian and to help all they care about is themselves the 3 employees I didn't see eye to eye with was because they feel since they work there they are better and can take your humanity and talk down to you. But when you say something back they claim you come at them aggressively while sitting in your vehicle and have other men come out and push you and try to taunt you..

Since the "owner" was nice enough to reply.
My question is we're you there? Or are you just taking the word of the people that I wouldn't allow to talk to me disrespectfully.

Never been aloud to use the emergency warming shelter nor the showers as they advertise. 2 of the staff are great. 2 others need to spend a night or 2 living out of a tent when it’s 32 degrees and learn some humanity.

Complete & utter lack of compassion & humanity. They are clearly more concerned about asserting their authority over those in need than they are with actually assisting. I've never been a resident, but I have used their shower & laundry services. One of their machines malfunctioned & I was stuck there for over 3 hours waiting to complete my laundry. In the interim, I was not permitted to leave to get something to eat, even after I explained that I hadn't prepared for such a long stretch & my blood sugar was low after I'd endured a long day. I was still stuck there when dinner time rolled around & a couple of residents were kind enough to offer me some of their food, to which I gladly accepted. Come to find out, this was apparently a severe breach of some rule as I was chided & lambasted for daring to accept an offer of sustenance under Donna's command, because as she explained it, "I'm in charge & that won't be happening under my watch." Ya know, just how Jesus would've conducted things. For such an egregious violation, I was subsequently banned from the facility & sent away with soaking wet clothes under threat of having the police be involved. It was easily one of the most insane reactions I've ever witnessed. I'm supposed to know that I am not permitted to accept offers of food that would otherwise have ended up in the trash, especially when I don't live there & am completely unfamiliar with such ridiculous policies? I feel bad for the folks who do live there as the people running the show are clearly not concerned with the welfare of their fellow human.

This is my second winter volunteering at the mission and I can honestly say I look forward to my hours there every week.
The food is good, the place is clean and orderly and the interactions between the E-shelter staff and the people that stay there is genuine and caring.
It is home for some of our community several months a year and they seem to appreciate it.

Spiritually based. Supportive, caring,it's more than just a shelter. It's truly a place to start again. Put past behind. An do what gods will for us is. When we fail doing ours. An do it without him we will keep falling. So if your truly wanting to have peace he is the only way to find I promise. I've walked many dark roads relying on my wants an what I thought was best. To finally give it to God. An amazing doors begins to open. Healing, love, forgiveness,an a clearer picture on the value of life...

Very good structured warm home with wonderful help and people. Easy access to resources, food, and very kind and concerning people who want to help see people succeed and get on their feet. I stayed here for 8 days directly from prison and had the help and support of all house members and got a job, and stable housing... THANK YOU

I want to thank the staff; Kaye, Terry, Donna, Stephanie, and Anna, for the great job they're doing in assisting individuals such as myself who are needing a safe place to stay. Their dedication to helping others in need is truly a Godsend.

No matter your situation dont stay at themission! Im 47 years old and on permanent disability. I gota doctors note saying i couldnt lift over 5 lbs yet they still had me lifting the industrial mop bucket to mop. Tou are not allowed to wear shorts above the knee or tank tips. You have to sign in and out everytime you come and go. Theydrug test you the day you have your intake done! You are not allowed prescription pain killers or anxiety meds because it is a clean and sober faciliry even though they lock up your meds. The male staff Eddie is a married man with five daughters yet he has been flirting with me and making me feel uncomfortable! Your better off on the streets like most christians they are hypocrites! They dont care about you! They only care about themselves. They put on a good face to the public but all the clothes donations they get theygive away to the goodwill. But before that the staff go through them! I saw 10 or more bags go out the door on their way to goodwill two days ago!
