WOW Arizona lives up to its name! We had a fantastic morning birding on CJ's beloved portion of land. CJ was the perfect balance of welcoming and informative, while letting us get on with our own thing as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone birding in/near Tucson. We certainly left feeling inspired to do our part to create our part of the quilt of biodiversity.

This place is one-of-a-kind! We had our first stay at WOW in December 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. We didn’t want to leave such a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary of birds and nature! CJ and MaryEllen are caring and gracious hosts. They are willing to share their passion and knowledge of the property and the “residents” they tend to. They truly cherish the nature and wildlife with detailed care and reflection; it was inspiring. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another stay later this year.
Outdoor experience: the hosts gave us a tour of the grounds right away, and right away we felt at home. From hummingbirds to hawks, we were able to enjoy the property to its fullest. So many areas to take a stroll, sit and enjoy the quiet, and take pictures of all the amazing birds and wildlife.
Indoor experience: quiet, clean, and comfortable bed! Coffee maker and coffee available. A mini fridge and microwave available for use as well.
An ideal location to spend an amazing weekend immersed in the WOW experience or to plan excursions out to other areas.
We cannot recommend a stay here enough!!

We had a great time watching the birds and talking with the owners, who are so knowledgeable. They really have some great insight into the behaviors of the birds. We loved this place and will likely go back every time we're in Tucson!

We had an amazing time at WOW Arizona and learned so much from CJ about the wildlife and plants of the area. He was a wealth of information and so glad he was able to hang out with us and share his knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Highly recommend a stay here if you enjoy nature. Will definitely visit again. Thank CJ and ME for being such terrific hosts and all the work you have put in to making this special place.

I’ve been to the Wow Arizona in October,it was amazing, when you arrived the nature and every species of incredible animals and birds welcome us as a fairytale, CJ and his wife are incredible and kind hosts. It’s a unique experience, I highly recommend staying there.

Excellent wildlife preserve created by the property owner CJ. We saw many species of hummingbirds, hawks, quales and a road runner. CJ is very knowledgeable and a great docent.

It’s basically a sanctuary, so many beautiful animals come and say hello! Friendly and generous owners, very clean. Extremely suggested if you’re open minded and looking for a unique adventure

We had such an amazing experience when we had spent the weekend at WOW Arizona! We learned so much about the local floral and fauna, got to hang out with hummingbirds and the hawks. Got to enjoy some amazing buds on top of everything! Can't wait to go back!!!!
