They sent me a letter, 5 days after I turned in my recertification paperwork one day before (Nov.21, 2024) the deadline Nov. 22, 2024, stating I did not turn in my paperwork on time and I would be terminated from the program on Jan. 31, 2025. Employee verbally states her supervisor told her to send out the letters ahead of the due date to over 100 clients ! The letter wnc source sent me was dated Nov. 26 ,2024 ,as was the postmark on the mailing envelope. this was 5 days after I hand delivered my paperwork to the front desk. I am tired of being lied to / gaslighted by government offices that are supposed to be of service to the people and by other housing agencies and management companies. I need my re-evaluation completed ASAP as my apartment management has sent me a letter with a 50% rent increase due January 1, 2025. They are just letting clients paperwork sit without even checking it in. This is highly inconsiderate treatment of clients who depend on their voucher for affordable lower rent based on their income. It has caused me undue mental stress and anxiety over the Thanksgiving office closure when I could not contact anyone at WNC source regarding this matter. Now, I a basicly told they are very busy, backed up and the recertification specialist has to wait until her supervisor returns in a few days to ask if she can work on my recertification. I'm sure I'm not the only client experiencing this situation.

WNC Source Transportation is excellent! I have been a paratransit user for over 4 years. All the drivers are courteous and helpful. Appointments are on time. Buses are very clean. I am thankful to have this resource in my area!

My husband is visually impaired and we chose to move to Hendersonville because of the availability of Paratransit through WNC Source. We have both been very pleased with the ease in scheduling rides, punctuality of the bus, and courtesy of all the drivers. Most highly recommended!

I want to give a big shout out and thank you to Mr William Shepherd handles the caseloads for Hendersonville housing Choice Voucher Program he went way above and beyond to make things happen for me I am forever grateful to you. Wnc sources you need to give this man a raise he's done an excellent job thank you again Mr Shepherd.

Has never helped never keep the same people I have been on the housing list for 6 years and I get the same message we just don't have anything at the time have you tried the mission?.
You turn the application and they tell you you do qualify bit it is hundreds of people in front of you that need housing.
When I worked I gave a portion of my pay check to help people who needed for this community, it's ashame they are so use to you giving when you need help they look at you like they are personally giving it from their pockets and pocketbooks.
I have and I will sleep in my truck Hendersonville don't to do it for Hendersonville, not throwing shade but we do need each other.
I am a Christian, blood donor and I help anyone I can and will continue to do so until God calls me home.
If I was a foreigner I could get the help I need, Just saying
Went back to WCCA they said we do not pay rent for anyone the best I can do is give you $300 dollars on your deposit or something .
I have worked since I was 14 years old never need no Welfare or any other oganiztions I always have given like the good book says.
God loves a cheer giver,!.
