Definitely a highlight of the trip! The horses were well taken care of and we did a trail ride along the vineyards. Even though the vines are dormant for the winter during February and pruned, it was still a great scenic route. We learned about the horses and some history about the vineyards. They match you up by skill level with the horses and are very friendly here.

This was our 2nd time in 5 years riding with Wine country trails , this time we celebrated my daughter’s 11th birthday. She said it was her BEST birthday ever!! We brought 5 of her friends ,11-12 year olds, with us. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. I definitely recommend the sunset tour! So BEAUTIFUL, the property is amazing. Horses look well loved and healthy. They have so many horses, I never had the feeling any of them were over worked. Hosting a group of kids with little to no experience riding I was nervous if they would be able to keep everyone safe, definitely not an issue. These horses were so well trained and our guides were VERY attentive. The ride never felt rushed, fun terrain. Up and down hills , through the vines and stopped for pictures!
Great experience 10/10

We had such a wonderful time riding horses around some gorgeous vineyards in Temecula. Our trail guide, Lesha, was the absolute best! She was so friendly and really went out of her way to make our experience perfect. A wine tasting was included at the vineyard next door, Danza del Sol. All in all a perfect way to spend the afternoon. Thank you, Lesha! You are amazing!

My wife had never been horseback riding, so I booked this on our staycation in Temecula. She loved it! Here is the play by play. As soon as we arrived we collected our wine tasting vouchers for Danza del Sol Winery. We spent 45 minutes tasting wine and then headed back to sign our waivers. After signing the paperwork, we headed down to get started. You can tell the horses are well fed and taken care of, which made both of us happy. Then our guides helped us onto our horses, gave us some instruction, and we were off. Our guide was Taylor, who my wife and I both liked. For around an hour we traveled the grounds of the Danza del Sol Winery grounds as the sun set. It really was a unique way of touring one of the many wineries in Temecula, and I think an awesome date idea.

We got the package deal that included the wine tasting and overall was well worth it! We got plenty of riding time through the vineyards and had a nice chat with our guide Haley. Horses were gentile and easy to control. The only thing I realized was that, for our time frame, we were basically just doing laps in the property's vineyard. I would've loved to go farther and seen much more, but I can understand that there's only so much land to cover. I'm comparing this to the horseback experience on Kualoa Ranch where you cover a LOT of ground and scenery. Would definitely recommend it for anyone!

We loved our ride out with Marie. Novice riders, not having ridden for years, Marie put us at ease. She gave some great informative information as we headed around the vineyards. The horses were very placid and well behaved. Recommend if you’re considered a trail.

My family and I just took the 1.5 hour trail ride here on Friday September 18th and it was awesome!! It was quite hot out, especially compared to San Diego where we were staying. Being from Chicago, we underestimated the temperature change from the coast to the desert! Our trail guide James was wonderful! He is very knowledgeable on all things horses and the winery and he took some great photos of us! Very cool dude with a lot of great stories, we could have hung out with him all day! The ride was nice and easy and the horses were wonderful! My mother had not been on a horse in over 30 years and she had no issues at all. I rode Patch and my mother rode his girlfriend Deka. Such gorgeous creatures! I asked to ride a Paint and James gave me one! I purchased the wine tasting afterwards and that was fine, but I much preferred the horseback ride 🙂 I would definitely return here if I ever find myself in that part of the country again.
