10/9/2004 - I would like to share my positive experience with Mary and Lindsay at the Wetlands in Huntington Beach. Both were friendly and helpful during my visit, and I appreciated our conversation, which lasted about 10 minutes. I brought in an opossum, and they informed me that they already had several, making it a suitable match for socialization. Overall, it was a great experience that made the 45-minute drive worthwhile. Sign out front says mask required. I brought in a House Finch that somehow ended up on our front door. Talked to someone on the phone who suggested putting the nest back in the tree (but which one?), no adults returned to the nest. I then Contacted WWCC of OC on Facebook/sent photos and was told to bring the hatchling in.

This is my go to for all wildlife injuries. I have captured and brought in at least 4 seagulls with broken wings and 1 pelican. To my knowledge, they do their best to rehab and release vs euthanize like other urgent cares. I appreciate their dedication and volunteers!

These wonderful folks took in 9 duck eggs my daughter brought in right as they were about to close- we can't thank them enough for their help to hopefully get these little ones finished hatching and started off to a healthy new life!

I'm so thankful for the Wetlands and Wildlife Rescue. We found a couple ducklings wandering on Crown Valley Pkwy with a crow flying hungrily overhead. We were able to rescue them and bring them in to Wetlands to be raised safely for release back in the wild later. Here's a picture of the adorable ducklings while they stayed warm & safe with our young tortoise until we could deliver them to the Rescue.

So thankful for them. They took in a baby opossum that I found in my backyard that somehow got separated from his mom. Another man in front of me had brought in a baby duckling. They are doing good work here. I left a donation as a thank you and show of support.

Found a stunned Hummingbird that couldn’t fly after flying into a window. Called the wildlife care center and they directed me to their hummingbird specialist who kindly took in the bird! She also educated me on the kind of hummingbird it was, a male Allen’s Hummingbird. Very nice and kind people! Made a donation after my experience. Hope that little guy recovers soon!
