I transferred from a traditional Methodist church in New York. Weddington church exceeded my expectations. Pastor Terry is great. I enjoy the 9:30am mass which includes an amazing Christian band.

God is definitely present in this place. My girlfriend and I have been attending on Sundays for quite some time. They offer traditional services as well as a more modern style service with a live worship band. They even have online services and tons of other cool opportunities and info on the church's website. Rev. Dr. Terry Moore is the Senior Pastor at Weddington Methodist Church. He makes the sometimes hard to interpret scripture crystal clear. His witty sense of humor keeps members of the congregation intrigued. So, to make a long story short..... If you're looking for an outstanding place to worship Jesus Christ; Weddington Methodist Church is the spot.

My wife, Kathi, and I were looking for a church home last year. As we entered the sanctuary for the first time, we immediately felt the warmth of Christ in this place. This is a church that follows sound doctrines, provides great foundational and advanced teaching, and many opportunities to serve God
through its local, national, and international missions. Most of all, this is a place that Loves the Lord and is a wonderful, warm place to worship, serve, and fellowship.

Great church with a lot of options from traditional to contemporary. Very nice people throughout.
WARNING: the contemporary service in the family life center will almost assuredly cause hearing damage. They really should provide ear plugs at the door. The science behind hearing damage is well known and understood, and the suffering it causes later in life is bad (my father is nearly deaf from the bad decisions he made earlier in life, and he has almost no relationship with his grandkids because he can’t understand a word they say). That service is good for the soul, but bad for the body.

attended the worship service on June 4 2023 the 8:15 service worst service I have ever seen will not ever be returning no sermon they don"t even take up a collection you have to walk up and put it in the offering plate.
