Love this place. Very family friendly environment. My only suggestions: the basketball courts are constantly dusty (they need to be sweeped more often), the gym is more geared towards aerobic exercising (I think they could use more more weights instead, with more mirrors), and lastly, when equipment is out of order, it takes weeks to months for them to fix it.

Reviewing based on concept, design, functionality, openness and pool(s). This was designed masterfully and with purpose. The center has a flow about it and is very spacious. Staff interactions were pleasant. Very well lit, clean and entirely free of clutter and/or debris.

I’ll give the Rec Center 5 stars because of how icy you get for the price. The indoor pool alone is worth the monthly membership.

The staff is always friendly and the facilities are always clean.

My one complaint is having to wait for a barbell. There are only 4 setups for barbells and I wish they would have a few more. I often have to wait for one.

AVOID: The gym design and equipment was grossly inadequate when constructed upon opening. It's astounding to watch somebody spend 30min on one barbell and most of it with their face in a cell phone. There is no time limit on the equipment and the inconsideration of the users is a disgrace to those that are simply trying to get a workout in. More then 1/2 the equipment is useless ellipticals that go unused on the 2nd level surrounded by the indoor track. Many of the Kaiser hydraulic machines go unused and are poorly designed. There is no conventional weights on cables to use for a simple wide grip lat pulldown(no lat bars). No overhead shoulder press machine. At present there are two pieces of equipment that are out of order and no end in sight as to when they will be repaired.

The equipment is poorly maintained and left in an inoperative condition with missing bolts and treadmills that are not cleaned and serviced that stick. The equipment poses a hazard to the members and the staff takes no measure in removing the dangerous equipment knowing that it poses a hazard. Most equipment has ripped upholstery and is patched with black tape.

The pool temperature is not maintained at required degrees and needs to be warmer. There are insufficient lanes to accommodate the users which are forced to share lanes.

The parking lot is poorly designed with narrow spaces for compact vehicles.

Pretty good gym for average gym goers, I do wish we had a stair machine though, but other than missing that one machine great building, people don't hog the machines/weights to often, parking lot is amazing, staff is also super friendly!

This place is great. I wish they rented lockers and had more gym equipment. They need a steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. The gym is always full and you have to wait on equipment. The locker room is clean. Most of the lifeguards are nice as well. Pools are clean too. The warm pool isn't always working, unfortunately.
