I don't understand this agency whatsoever. Overworked with too many cases, maybe, but that doesn't relinquish responsibility to clients. Between myself, and my now deceased mother, it has been a nightmare to say the very least.
Rude caseworkers, huffing and puffing over the phone, not listening to what you are saying, speaking over you before you can finish a sentence, not understanding themselves what policy states, phone calls that never get returned until a supervisor has to be contacted. All I can say is one day you may be in the same situation as those you serve or a family member and hopefully be treated better.

CPS is the absolute worst in the country! How bad does a persons drug addiction and mental health have to be to not return a baby back to the mother that used meth through the whole pregnancy and can't stay on mental health meds very long. On same dose for over 2 yrs. It's extremely frustrating!!!

They are horrible when it comes to trying to get Medicaid for an elderly person. They act like a person has all this money and don’t and deny them just because they say it’s the state requirement. My grandfather can’t be left alone and they don’t care!
