A very welcoming, humble, mission focused community. A contemplative and peaceful worship service with Scripture based messages and meaningful sermon series. (No rock bands or light shows). Traditional music, including gorgeous piano, a talented choir and the standard organs. Many small groups to get involved with from Bible study to crafting prayer shawls, quilting, maintaining grounds and garden, book and dinner clubs - VBS support ministry, travel abroad missions. We've found folks who have servant hearts and a great sense of humor 😀, so important. A very good children's program, and a true love for children in service and in the church. All ages attend.

We've been members here for some years. The atmosphere is low-key, devout and friendly. Pastor Donald Warren is authentic, personable, and a great preacher. He talks with you rather than at you. The church is quietly and securely in the center of things having room for a full range of views. There is great emphasis on service especially to the local community and the church actively leads and supports efforts on several fronts.

I've been going to WFUMC for many years. Our church and worship services are friendly, inclusive and loving. WFUMC serves all ages (children, youth, seniors, and small adult groups) as we make disciples for Christ. The pastors are personable and preach good sermons. You can definitely find a place to fit in at WFUMC.

After my move from Vermont, I thought it might take time to find my church home. In my first visit to this church, I felt the true spirit of the Lord at work…from the members greeting you at the door and the ushers to the peace and love you feel as the outstanding choir sings and surrounds you with music that prepares you for Donald Warren's incredible service. Although the church is large, the small group bible classes, and the individual friendships and connections feel as though it is a small family unit…I feel led by Christ to be part of this church, and am prayerfully grateful every day for this parish of Christ- centered people.

The children's ministry at this church is amazing! They have fun activities including VBS, summer camps, Trunk or Treat, Christmas shop, Easter Egg Hunt, and so much more. Sunday School from preschool to high school is fun at every age level! The children and their families are truly loved and welcomed!

Wake Forest UMC is a warm & welcoming family church that offers something for everyone. Great music and many opportunities to be in mission. It has a huge youth program and great scouting program.

I love this church community. It has a heart of missions and helping others locally, in the US and internationally. I also love the small groups and the fun events like trunk or treat and VBS.
