My husband and I got married at the community house in March. We had a very small intimate wedding. We loved everything about the community. Bathrooms were clean, parking was wonderful and it came with a kitchen it does not have a stove though. The only thing I would change is that there was a miscommunication with the community house coordinator where she had told us that music can’t be louder than a grocery store without a wake forest cop on site. She was able to help us figure out this problem very quick so we could do all of our songs. I would definitely make sure you double check the rules when you book as far as music before stressing last minute. I was very pleased with how the whole problem was helpful and even the worker on site was very helpful to us. I would definitely recommend and use this place again. I’m so happy to be married and that our little town of wakeforest was cheaper than a venue. It definitely worked for us and was just as beautiful

We take our kids to Art in the park on 4th of July at Wake Forest Community House this morning. Nice cool AC! There are so many crafts, decorating activities. Lots of parkings. There also have cleaned restrooms inside.

Great park with usually enough kids to where your child isn’t bored but isn’t crazy packed. Has clean public bathrooms on the other side of the community house. Has swings and wheelchair access ramp. There are a good amount of picnic tables for seating, but they aren’t shaded. My kids really enjoy running up and down the hill behind it. The pool is being renovated and parking is on the road or across the street. It’s a one way street and isn’t crowded. Great for “runners”. You don’t have to worry about your kid darting off into a street and it is easy to see them from almost all angles.
