An interesting and sprightly concert. When the whole chorus sings, it is very good. However, solo, duets and trios do not project their voices. Unless one sits near the front, many of the singers' words are not clear. It does little good to sing on key if the singer does not project. PROJECT! PROJECT! And at times the piano & violin were competing with the singers; the instruments need to be a bit more subdued--or the singers need to be louder. Learn & remember to PROJECT! Also, the constant movement of arms and hands in every piece can be distracting.

Talent was phenomenal. Loved the music in other languages, and the costumes were fabulous!! Congrats on the invite to Carnegie Hall! Minus one star in my review for the overall attitude though. Was walking back to my car from the show and some of kid performers were pointing out that I was the one who wasn't singing along with the audience in the front row. Rude much? At least ask why. I went on a day I was on morning shift. That is, I wake up at 4:30am and do 8hr shifts. So excuse me for being too tired to sing along. Wasn't the only attitude problem from the production either. I'll buy more cds from voena, but probably going to pass on more shows.
