The staff that dispense the food are worthy of four stars. However the Hispanic female that does the scheduling is extremely disrespectful of older people. Especially anglo older people. Never known anyone so rude. When one is in need, and it's very difficult to accept charity when one is not used to asking for help, it is very painful to be lectured condescendingly by a public servant whose livelihood depends on your taxes to pay her salary. I lived in this city for 25 years before I needed its help. But I find blatant rudeness despicable. Shameful.

What can I say. Its donated food with a smile. Helping me thru the beginning of my retirement after a long time caring for my elderly mother. Helping each other with love is the only way to get out of this decisiveness...get out of this world with some soul left. The only border is the one we've created in our hearts. Peace...✌️?

All the Vista Del Camino Neighborhood Assistance Center staff does is Help ANYONE, and ANYBODY who lives in Scottsdale with Food, Utilities, Rent, child resources, job searching, help in ANY WAY that they can do so with their resources! Great people! Many super nice volunteers and many programs for all of ones needs.
Any size Family, Couples, elderly parents, grandparents, or legal dependants, relatives, etc... in the household are welcome. Single individuals are eligible too, ...and btw, .. your Cats, Dogs, Rabbits can get food and needed items also!
*Of course please Do Not Assume anything that I say as fact without FIRST asking the V.D.C.N.C. Staff first. I am only giving you my personal opinion with some general information to help guide you and to point out some of what I have experienced working with them. (Please Note beliw)*
