This is my second visit to this church while traveling through LA. Sweet church, a open and welcoming Assoc. Pastor and an engaged congregation. Outside as I waited for a delayed cab someone asked if I needed a ride to my hotel. I was impressed by that kind offer. Lovely parish.

Angry, hate-filled people. If you have any social anxiety, they will tell you to go away. One of the worst parishes I've ever visited.

Traveling out of LAX and based on times, I wouldn't have a chance to attend any other masses that Sunday. I arrived early on Sunday for mass. I apologized to the priest for my dress, I was in shorts and a tank. He was completely undearstanding. As I elaborated, i am flying out this morning and I won't have a chance to change, the only thing ha asked was:"do you need a ride to the airport?". I am to this day moved by emotion by the most humble expression of our Catholic faith. Thank you for your leadership, you changed my life in that moment.

My family and I got stranded right outside of their church we, we're actually relieved once we saw the church. However the older gentleman that answered the door was not so "Christ-like" turning my two year old daughter and myself away with no help or at the very least a kind word. All that we needed was acsess to their "guest wifi" so we could Uber out but he denied us and just shut the door with no empathy or regard whatsoever. As a Christian/Catholic I felt that was very wrong it our circumstances were not their fault nor responsibility we just felt like anygood church leader would have offered some form of help especially seeing us stranded with our baby girl late in the afternoon he didn't even allow us inside the building.. I guess this is a prime example of what it means in the Bible in Mathew when God says "This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me;" very dissapointed it is a big beautiful church you would think it's members would be kinder.

Wonderful local parish. It's small but fits with the community. The interior is one of the most beautiful in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. No air conditioning because it's near the beach.
