I loved this visitor's center - learning it's history was pretty cool. There's a time line on the floor, a tent they began selling things from, good selection of books and gifts. Checkout was fast, staff was super friendly. Near the rim, so we shopped after viewing that part of the Grand Canyon.

I think her name was Samantha who really helped me out today with some camper info as a visitor from the UK. She was really knowledgeable about the local area and best spots to see. But most of all, just a really genuinely nice person who was clearly happy to help. I’ll be forever grateful for the help she gave me. Shop was also lovely and there was a small museum section. Must visit if in Grand Canyon Village

Of the visitor spaces and gift shops we went to this was our favorite as it offered a neat walking history of the canyon and lots of gifts too - felt like this one had a good kids section.

Built upon the original trading post location, this museum/store makes an interesting place to stop and shop while reading some local history. It was spacious and stocked with a variety of clothes, hiking accessories and souvenirs. The staff was present but didn't hassle the people browsing.

One of several stamp locations to visit in the park. Vercamp has nice timeline on the floor and several historic photos about the building and the Grand Canyon. Also is a gift shop.
