I adopted a new member of our family here about two months ago. His names charlie and he was 12 months old at adoption. He has been the perfect fit for our family and is just the best guy around. We have a 13 year old terrier/Chihuahua who at first was grumpy but now they are the best pals. Seeing my 13 year old boy play again makes me so happy. Charlie is amazing and i’m so grateful we found our way to eachother. The staff are super friendly and made the process so easy. Denise was the person who helped me with the adoption and was very kind. They gave coupons which was a bonus because charlie’s toys last a couple hours until they are completely chewed up. The paperwork they gave was super easy to get him registered with our vet and the process was just super easy. i definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a new little girl or guy for your family. Thank you to the staff for everything you do!

Valley Humane Society is wonderful! I had been looking for a small dog at a pound in Dublin, didn't even know about the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton. What a joy it is, nice people, darling doggies & kitty cats. Positive feeling there, clean and attended to. I adopted my small doggie Gigi there, we just celebrated our three month anniversary. Can't imagine not having her! Bailey, my eight yr old Yorkie is her BFF, and my 18 yr old cat, Lulu, likes Gigi too. Just watching them is fun, how they have gotten to know and accept each other.

We adopted two cats from this place (bonded pair). The staff were really friendly and answered all our questions. Also, we were given a pet starter bag. They take very good care of the animals and ensure they are microchipped before adoption. Our cats had also been given some of their initial vaccinations.

Candy (Daisy) and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary 2 days ago. I couldn’t believe how much she means to me, we are so attached. A match made in heaven. She is my world. Daisy loves my grandchildren just as much as they love her. I want to also thank her benefactor for paying for her adoption. Daisy is truly my soulmate!!! Thank you so very much for allowing me to adopt her!! Nona Toledo , Dayton, NV.
