went in for a personal loan our credit score not the worst 680 but never have been late or missed in 30 years. it seemed our communication between us and loan officer and underwriting just never was complete. we understood interest was higher but 3 times i called they still have the correct information. at one point they had our car listed as and ATV? in underwriting just the whole process information we gave them was never interred correctly. maybe we didn’t give them right info but it’s there business to gather the correct info.

In general they are very good but a typo was made when ordering my replacement debit card, causing me to wait an additional two weeks for a second card to arrive. I have had several subscriptions cancel and I will have to pay late fees for some of them when I finally get my card. They are friendly staff and I understand that mistakes are bound to happen but this has been a huge and expensive inconvenience for me.

All I wanted was to transfer my funds and close my account. And yet, something so simple and straightforward could not be done. Instead, a blank check was printed out and my account was closed. Because this was on Saturday, they told me there was nothing else they could do and that I would have to wait for Monday morning when tech support and upper leadership can figure things out.

This is unacceptable and beyond disappointing. All the more reason for me to NOT have my funds with this organization.

Been with valley community Credit union StevensPoint for 20+ years. I’ve had home loans, vehicle loans and toy (boat, camper, etc.) loans.
Always quick, easy, and professional service, with a personal touch.
Always a pleasure dealing with the credit union. Nice to have loans local. I’ve dealt with mike fox and it’s always a simple phone call telling him what I need and there’s always been a quick turn around getting the loan and decent rates.

Joined Valley Communities Credit Union out of convenience years ago. The credit union I had been part of decided to close their Plover location. Valley was practically across the street from my workplace in Stevens Point so I gave them a shot. I have had great experiences thus far from the friendly, knowledgeable staff. They always has a smile their faces and are willing to go the extra mile to help anyone with their financial needs.
I'll say this, I no longer work "across the street", haven't for 2 years now, but I don't look elsewhere for my financial needs. Keep up the good work !

Valley has taken such good care of all my financial needs! I was so impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly tellers and loan staff were. The tellers told me about a new rewards checking that's free! I got back almost $6 last month from what I spent on my debit card and it was super easy. Every loan that I have gotten has been through VCCU in Point. I'm so happy to know that anytime I have a problem or need help they can help me!
