Best place for service members and dependants to feel welcomed and loved! They've got food, events, gifts, and so much more for service members and their families! And the volunteers are some of the most kind people you'll ever meet.

Thank you to the men and women who are working, volunteering, and being proactive in the lives of our military folks and their families. Visited the USO after reading their fb about tickets to a local baseball game. The staff took time to show us around and offer us several of the donated goodies from the local stores. We are new to the are and reached out to other military family friends we knew about the tickets for the game and they were unaware of the USO on post. So thankful for what y’all do and wish to bring more positive awareness to your organization.

I'd called the Fort Bragg-USO office front desk, and unfortunately it wasn't a very pleasant experience. Perhaps, the individual I spoke with was having a bad day? I'm not sure, but please, understand that you're representing an organization that seeks to assist the nation's military personnel. You can never be sure if you're speaking with a veteran, spouse, or widow of a serviceman who wishes to volunteer, lending their time to show appreciation for those who serve.

I encourage your staff to practice respect, and kindness when speaking to potential volunteers. Afterall - isn't kindheartedness the very nature of volunteerism?
