My recruiter here is genuinely the coolest guy ever. They have and stick to great core values and Train you to prepare you for bootcamp. They set you up for a future that's a lot more attainable whilst keeping the family vibe all the way through. Through the muddy training you're not alone, and outside the training you're checked up on. Give it a visit, there's a ton of opportunities there!

This is the best recruiting office by far. I went into multiple offices to enlist but none of them were as professional as the McKinney office. Before I became a marine I was a bum who couldn’t run 3 miles and now I am an artillery man running 6 miles with full gear carrying a 90 pound shell on my shoulders. Unlike other recruiting offices that are dishonest and don’t care about the kids they recruit the McKinney recruiting office will hook you up with whatever job you want and get you fit before you go to bootcamp. If you are going to enlist in the Marine Corps do it through this recruiting office.

This recruiting office truly changed my life, ssgt Ruiz is a friendly face that can provide knowledge to anyone inquiring as well as advice for future female marines. Sgt Hoffman was my recruiter and he taught me how to show the confidence I didn’t know I had until joining and genuinely guided me in a direction I’ve always needed to go I just didn’t know where to start. The atmosphere in this office is so cohesive and comfortable for you to be able to open up and discuss future opportunities no matter what path you would like to take in life. Truly role models for the marine corps and all it stands for.

Best of the best.

As a Marine who’s been through multiple recruiters, I can confidently say the dedication and effort the recruiters put in at the station is unmatched. Poolee’s at McKinney will find themselves better prepared for the Corps in comparison to other stations, and will be in turn more successful during boot camp. If you’re looking for recruiters who actually take the time to prepare you and ensure your success, this is the recruiting station to go to.

Our 18 year old son just graduated from bootcamp at Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego. We are so proud to call him a Marine! We had no prior experience with the military but his recruiters gave us all the information and assistance to sign him up for USMC. They take a very active, genuine interest in anyone that wants to become a Marine.

In our case, Staff Sargeant Ruiz mentored our son through his Senior year with meetings and checking in how he was doing at High School. She was engaged and interested during his participation at Poolee training events (weekly fitness and bootcamp readiness sessions) and she especially helped us as a family during the 12 weeks of bootcamp. If you aren’t familiar with meeting active duty Marines it can be intimidating! But she is always both completely easy-going and approachable and entirely professional. Very switched on. Anytime I have a question I know I can go to her, 24/7. This was so reassuring during bootcamp when recruits are mostly not contactable however she kept in touch with me throughout. She even writes to her recruits at bootcamp, continually motivating them to push forward. As a mother I can tell that she has taken the time to get to know our son and she takes great pride in following all ‘her kids’ progress showing herself to be loyal and faithful beyond signing them up.

All the recruiters we have met have instilled great confidence; made us feel that our son is looked out for, held to a very high standard and now part of something special, serving in the Marine Corp. I think these guys are constantly on the lookout for potential and if your child is suitable they will take them (and you) all the way through the process of joining. I have no hesitation in recommending RSS McKinney Recruiting Station to any parent or individual who is considering or even just curious to learn more about joining the Marine Corp.
