You get turned down from United Way.
I guess I have to be white or Mexican Latino. I'll be on the street before they get you in the help. So I wonder where all that money goes to when you donate so the ones out here trying, they don't do nothing for us.
Something else i'm gonna take the news 2 right along with social service, if I were people quit donating money to the nonprofits

First of all no one should ever give a dime to United Way! We had a two year grant and provided over 100 adults free construction certification for the past year! Some started their own companies and some were employed but not enough to satisfy United Way board members so they cut our 2nd year grant funds with no warning and are forcing us to cut classes and layoff staff members! This is a horrible organization with no consequences or consideration for the organization that commit to support! There Bold Goal is a Bold Joke! My name is Scott and I am the Executive Director for Tiny House Community Development the nonprofit that got taken for a ride by United Way!

United Way Greensboro without any notice pulled our nonprofit Tiny House Community Development education grant funds because even though over 125 students earned their nationally accredited construction certification, they all didn’t get employment per United Ways letter. This certification will still help them as they have learned a valuable new trade and can create their own company doing remodeling or home repair or part time work at home stores unlike not having their certification. Please do not give to United Way!!
