My experience with the United Way was concerning. Once ringing the door bell I was asked to remain on the front entry porch while they prepared a list of other organizations that may help. I truly appreciate all the churches and individuals who show so much love and care and I hope to do my part. Unfortunately, there is no funding for I.D., personal documents, driving license reinstatement fees, shelter or house payment assistance, transportation etc. A resource list is available, however after calling there seems to be a shortage in the finance area of the listed organizations. Homelessness, hunger, and needed assistance can happen to anyone. Service members, illness, incarceration, natural disaster etc. Starting over is difficult and preparation to help during these situations is vital. ♥️ Love and appreciation to the pantries and food assistance banks that help our children, elderly, veterans and all of us.
