Several years ago I needed assistance from this organization. The help I received from them was outstanding! It has probably been at least 10 years ago, but from my experience they make every effort to assist you in any way possible to make sure you are not without the assistance that you request from them. Thank you for helping during my time of need.

Worst fake assistance I was ever told about. When you need help, don't ever go there. They will string you along, making you sure you'll get help. They don't and won't do a damn thing. I gave them a time frame on when I absolutely had to pay my rent.
They told me that the best they could do was 600$. That would help. However when time came, no one was to be found. Instead, I received word 2 days after my eviction proceedings were to take place. Nothing about the money I needed, even though I had given them everything they asked for. Now they needed a signed document from my landlord. I didn't want him to know about this or he may try to get rid of us in the future by any means. I ended up going to our church who helped us out. Don't ever try Union County crisis assistance ministries.
They're a total waste of time and effort!!! I sat and waited for a case worker to show, and they came late. I waited for 3 hours in the parking lot. Don't think anyone will answer your phone call when you're in need.
I have seen first hand how these women treat people since they let me inside while I waited for kristy, the social worker who showed up 20 minutes late. That gave me my first insight into them. I then sat in the waiting area listening to them talk about a to z that happened over the weekend. Refilling coffee cups as the gossip went on. The entire time the phone was ringing off the hook which is why I'm glad I had waited in person. 40 minutes later I was seen by kristy and the rest is history. Biggest waste of time! The sad fact is that union County doesn't have the resources of Mecklenburg or somewhere near the city. Every avenue I explored went right to these people.

They are very warm, and they always help out when needed. The staff are very pleasant and kind and if we need any more of their assistance, I wouldn't hesitate to ask.

Awesome people to deal with and they are great help. It's hard enough to humble yourself and ask for help (well, it is for me) but it's harder if someone is been a bit condescending to you or something.

Here, they are not and have never been. They are super nice and very understanding.

Thanks for the help and for the good work you do.
