We recently visited our dear friend who just moved here & we stayed 2 nights in the facility guest room. The building exterior & interior were very clean, updated & cozy. They're in the process of replacing the old elevator.
We ordered dinner & breakfast from the kitchen (the same meals served for the residents) & they were delicious, there's a fancy coffee machine in the dining room where I got my cappuccino.
Our friend told us the staff here were very nice. Sure thing. They were very welcoming & made sure our stay were comfortable & we got everything we needed. Thank you for your hospitality & we'll definitely return.

The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and treat my grandmother like family! Activities are scheduled daily and I've never been served a bad meal. I wouldn't hesitate to have a family member stay here, and I am sure they will enjoy their stay and be accepted by the other residents! 👍

My sister and I both live in the beautiful state of Michigan. Our father resides in Roseville, California. We’ve taken many trips to Roseville during the past two years to visit him. He was living alone in a spacious home and was having health problems that required medical attention. He wasn’t eating properly. He wasn’t socializing and sat alone day after day and was literally barely existing. We got an urgent call from him stating that he’d had enough and needed help.

We made the trip again. We took care of his medical issues. We hired a company to help us with the contents of his home, and had a realtor list his home for sale. We had a recommendation for Truewood by Merrill in Roseville and immediately contacted them and scheduled an appointment with them. The rest of this history.

Let me explain.
The entire experience with this place has been outstanding. My father moved from a large home to a studio apartment. We brought along the things that he would need in his small space. He’s happier now than I’ve seen him since our visits began. He has independence. He has wonderful meals in the dining room three times daily. He has friends and acquaintances that he’s met. He has several activities that he’s involved with. At the same time, he also has his privacy, which is important to him. The staff goes above and beyond in absolutely everything with the residents living there. I must honestly say that Truewood by Merrill of Roseville has saved his life. He has a full life with purpose again.

When my sister and I had to return home to Michigan after our many visits, there was always a sadness between us because we feared that it would be our last trip. There were tears, guilt and sadness felt by both of us. Since we’ve relocated him to Truewood by Merrill in Roseville, this is no longer true. Yes, it’s always sad to leave him behind, but our hearts are full knowing that he’s in a better place now; he’s with people that truly appreciate him and care about him.

I know this is a rambling review, but our Dad is our life and we love him very much. I think that anyone who has the opportunity to make the decision to stay at Truewood would benefit greatly from their decision.

Recently relocated my 86 year old mom from Florida to an apartment in Mistywood. This place is beyond PERFECT for her. She left behind a home, yard, car, and all the maintenance that goes along with it!

She is in a one bedroom apartment with 3 meals a day, housekeeping, transportation and feels safe and secure. It is true that some of the furnishings are a bit dated; HOWEVER, what we felt was the most important was that she be happy, well fed, and cared about. The staff at Mistywood is AMAZING. Julie and Sylvia spent time with my husband and I as we carefully selected the unit and understood the facility before brining mom across country to live.

From the minute we arrived from the airport and Julie met us with hot meals, a big smile and welcoming hug for my mother I knew we were in the right place!

The pricing, compared to surrounding facilities, is more than fair. Also, when considering what mom was able to let go of -- home owners insurance, auto insurance, Xfinity bill, utilities, property taxes, housekeeper, home maintenance (lawn service, pest control, etc. etc.) and the peace of mind she gained, this is an ideal situation for mom.

Oh, and there's even a beauty shop with a delightful stylist that took her time to cut and style mom's hair and give her a pedicure. The chef is amazing and mom has been raving about the delicious meals she is getting. Each meal consists of 3 great choices. There are also activities that keep residents socializing and smiling! In just one week mom looks better than she has in years. I attribute this to the great staff at Mistywood that are making her feel at home. Couldn't be happier!
