This was my first visit to the TROSA Thrift Store. I was surprised at the expansive size! From what I'm told, the one in Durham is much much bigger even still.

I was expecting a huge collection of clothes, some books and such. In addition, they have lots of home/bedroom furniture, electronics, office furniture and basically everything you'd need to fill a home.

What I love about TROSA is that they will help the men that go through their program to get back on their feet. They can live in one of their apartments and pay minimal rent for up to a year, while they save money to get into their own place. Once they do obtain their own place, TROSA will help them furnish it! Such a wonderful way to set them up for success.

I found a super cute book for my granddaughter and a mug that I loved. I was really only going to drop something off but wanted to browse and see what they had. Glad I did. I'll be bringing my thrift loving mom and sister back! They also love to support stores that are helping men and women to break free from the chains of addiction, as I am 10 years in recovery myself.

Thankful for TROSA being a part of the Winston Salem community! Travis, the gentleman that helped me check out was very polite and professional.

Fantastic experience! I walked in when they were running a sale. They allowed us to stuff our bags for $5!! That can not be beat! I found my toddler some cute pants and shirts for 1/3 the price in store. The staff is friendly and so willing to help. I will definitely be back for sure !!!!!!

The first day I went there the staff was friendly, greeting you as you walked in and just made you feel so welcome. The building is huge, and you can't check out everything in one day. They have a variety of things. Tvs, furniture, household goods, clothes, jewelry and everything in between. The money they make goes to a good cause. They focus on addiction, and I don't mind spending my money there.

Super clean and organized and a great variety of different things. They had some gorgeous furniture pieces for great prices and everything is spaced well so it doesn't feel cluttered. They have a wildly varied selection of CDs that was fun to look through and the condition of CDs and VHSs were mostly immaculate. Employees were all very nice and the store supports a good cause. We will definitely be coming back!

They trying to sell certain items like a old timey looking radio that has a cracked side like it got wet a cracked amfm knob for $5 it's not worth that when it might fall apart employees tell you they're not able to negotiate prices so I personally would take my business to habitat ReStore where all employees are able to negotiate prices it doesn't matter you need to take money and make negotiations or you lose that money that can help the people that's your choice. Don't respond to this review you never know who you're dealing with I could potentially be a YouTuber with a 2 to 3 million following in Winston-Salem and I can put you out of business because of my reviews.

I didn't buy the item I left until my business to Goodwill. You're better off taking your business to Winston-Salem rescue mission I personally would not shop here if I was you.

I was in the area all the way from Greensboro so I left it on the counter and they can put it back. I mean you tell me you can't negotiate prices they went from 499 to 399 I'll try to get it for $3 you mean he couldn't negotiate an extra 99 cents that is bull crap.

I used to refer people here but now I will be telling people stay away from here.

I am so very glad we stopped here to shop today with our family. It had so much variety and the staff was wonderful. The prices were excellent! To the nice gentleman who was our cashier: I wish you much success with your goals! And thanks to the gentleman who gave us suggestions for coffee nearby!
