Some anti-abortion groups have used the term "post-abortion syndrome" to refer to negative psychological effects which they attribute to abortion. However, "post-abortion syndrome" is not recognized as an actual syndrome by the mainstream medical community. Post-abortion syndrome (PAS) is not included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM-IV-TR or in the ICD-10 list of psychiatric conditions.

In my experience of coming in to Tree of Life since pregnancy through having my baby everyone I’ve interacted with here has always been very accommodating, non judgmental and extremely encouraging and nurturing. I haven’t had to spend much on my baby due to their constant provision and kindness. I highly recommend them to anyone who feels alone in this or is feeling burdened by circumstances. You don’t have to be.

I’ve brought Granddaughters and a niece here. Everyone was very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help with maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, baby furniture and accessories. Having the ultrasound available was the best thing there. To be able to see their babies was so heartwarming. Thank you for all you do for them.

Every volunteer I have come in contact with is extremely knowledgeable, kind and discreet. They never give out names and love what they do. Because of their love and helpfulness they make me want to get involved and volunteer as well . I’m thankful that young teens and young adults have a place to go like this facility.

Ran by volunteer's who are cold, crude and condesending to pregnant girls, a girl asked the volunteer for a wipey cause her baby just had a full diaper , the volunteer said she would have to wait three months for a wipey . That careless inconsiderate additude was mainly what I experienced over and over, the Director was kind and maybe one other person but mostly , the volunteers are unhelpful not understanding and rude.
