Where to start... When I first got to Tradition One I was clueless to what "tools" I needed to obtain to becoming truly sober and even more important, to STAY sober. But everyday I've spent at T1 that statement has become more and more false! I have learned to cope with my stress in a healthy manner, handle obstacles that arise productivity, the importance of critical thinking skills to help me avoid relapse, how to implement balance in my life, a strong work ethic, and most importantly I have manifested the desire to live a clean and sober life!! I am amazed in the positive transitions that my life has taken in the few months I've spent at Tradition One and am so grateful for the assistance I desperately needed to regain control of my life!!
The staff at Tradition One has given me guidance and direction towards achieving sobriety! They have motivated me to become the very best me and have taught me the necessary skills so that I will consistently progress forward in this life long journey! The staff are not your stereotypical drug councilors (at least for me, they are not what I thought of when I pictured a drug and alcohol councilor). They teach by personal experience! At one point in their lives they were addicts who had to learn the exact same "tools" that they are teaching! (No brainier... If there is something challenging that you want to accomplish, learn from someone who has already accomplished it!) Every single staff member radiates passion and it is more than clear that they care about each and every individual progressing through the program!
I'm going to end this by expressing my upmost respect for the program, Tradition One, as well the rockstar staff! Thank you for showing me how amazing life is meant to be!!

In 1994 I was homeless and drug addicted. I was referred to Tradition One by the Homeless Outreach Program of the VA Hospital and became a resident of Tradition One's 12 Step-Social Model program. IT CHANGED MY LIFE! The kind and knowable staff, the program content, and the comradely of other addicted people helped put me on the road to the life I have today. I am so grateful to Tradition One.

This place is not a good place they like to harass the people that stay there and not help you work to better your life. They don't even let people work there. You will only have a bad outcome or even possible jail from the workers there like to make your situation worse and try to make you a target with the others around. You are not safe this is not a safe place.
