They really deserve 0 stars. The reviews are true! RUDE! Wild how some people offer you a place to live but come with the attitude that makes you want to stay homeless. You will get the run around.. Please do your research and let this be your last resort.

I lived here for 6 years beofre I got put out due to me not paying them 3000 bc I told them when I worked and when I started they did not change my rent for 6 months *which is not my fault* so they said I owed them 3000 and I’m not paying that bc I followed the rules which was report your income within 10 days not to mention when I found out I had to move I had 4 DAYS FOUR !!! there taking these singles parents money ms steele use to be the lady that answers the phone now she is the manager and she talks to you like trash threatens to put you out anytime you don’t agree with her. They do not FIX anything I was without air for the whole summer when I turned my shower on it would leak through my living room ceiling these people are not here to help 0/10 !! If I could give it a negative I would I begged and pleaded for her not to do this to me but she did and even being put out and having 4 days to live I’m glad that I found a nice place for me and my children to live they wanted me HOMELESS but not my god !! Ms steele needs to be fired and I will not STOP until I get justice for what happen to me and my children !! It is SO MUCH more I could write but I’d be writing forever bottom line make this your LAST resort you will end up regretting it housing is suppose to be a stepping stone these lady’s do NOTHING but take advantage of us and mistreat us and try to keep us down

I was put out for "bumping" my neighbor's car with my door. I was also 9 months pregnant at the time. I was taken to court due to my neighbor taking out false charges on me. The judge dropped the charges after I proved my neighbor was lying on me. Housing authority asked for the form that shows the case dismissed After turning in the form I still had to move. Management inside the office has asked people "why are you helping her if she working", or "why does she need housing authority".... Well I am a single mother of 3 who makes 10.50 per hour, that's why!!!! Me and my children went without hot water for 3 months as well as our refrigerator being out for almost 45 days before being evicted! 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Do not apply to live here mrs steel should be reported fired and sued..they over the top mistreated me making me pay over the top rent that did not coincide with my hours at work. they evicted me for still moving my things from one place to the other..they move very slow when it comes to fixing things for the apartment. and the older lady’s at the office for some reason are not looking to empowered us young lady’s they would rather make it harder for us …don’t move here!!!!!

Been here going on 3 years in June! I have no energy to go into every detail. Just know you should make this your last option if needing a place to live. Which it was my last option. Manager and staff know that most of the residents have no other options. So they play off that fact. You will do what we say and give us whatever funds we ask of you even it sounds absurd unless you want to be homesless. Also if you move into the housing apartment forget about section 8. The word is once they give you a apartment you will never get the section 8 voucher. THOMASVILLE is the only city I know without a number to call to check on section 8 status. The manager and staff are crooked. For broken blinds she replace them and add a fee of 15$ to rent as well as other repairs. Also i live in a apartment with a leaking ceiling water drips down from bathroom into living room. The couk it and 3 to 4 months later back dripping. It's sad and disgusting over here. One of the staff lost my youngest son birth certificate in someone else file. I had to bring another one. I would suggest recording every office visit. They are crooked

Thomasville Housing Authority has been negligent in their duties as far as upkeep maintenance which isn't most maintenance guys fault it's the fault of the head maintenance man who knows absolutely nothing about fixing anything everything he's tried to fix for me was still broken it took two-and-a-half months for me to get a toilet lid that would stay up they finally put in a new toilet I still haven't got other things fixed and the apartments are never cleaned before you move in now we having a problem with bed bugs which is probably because they haven't cleaned any of the apartments of people move into the management doesn't seem to have any idea of what to do as far as management goes they can't even get the laundry room open on time 99% of the time I want to be able to live here and I'm happy with the residents that I live with they are great people but are being taken advantage of by the management of the Housing Authority we definitely need some help somewhere I do believe the man who has gotten very complacent in their jobs and not they don't leave work orders they get into your apartment and don't leave anything to tell you they were there or what they were doing there I'm disgusted with the way they treat the people in this housing project which is Liberty Arms hopefully things will change in the near future people have been notified we need a management team that actually cares about the people that live here instead of just renting the apartments and not doing anything about what needs to be done we have Gardens growing out of the gutters and spider webs coming down from every gutter there is and water is running straight off the roof instead of going into the gutter it can't go in because it's so full of leaves and dirt and garbage and everything else terrible terrible job of management

Well, it's a dump but what do you expect when you're talking about a cheap housing. The people who run the office are not the nicest, they have no sense of urgency when it comes to maintenance issues, the complex is old and outdated with many plumbing/septic issues, lots of traffic in and out, and lots of noise day and night. With that being said, if you don't mind any of that then go for it.

Unprofessional and had my girlfriend waiting for weeks/months for repair, remove mold, etc. NEEDS TO BE WAY BETTER!!! Highly disappointed... Needed info sent to us never received it, office is always closed or "in a meeting"
