I purchased over 180 worth of stuff that I read was needed. The article said you drive to the back warehouse. The door was locked, so I pressed the button to let them know I brought some things to donate, like coffee, creamer, things for women, snacks, and water. They never opened the door, they sent this little lady around to ask me where I was going. What if I was a crazy person? I feel like you put her in a possible dangerous situation. I went around, the young lady at the desk was very nice, but they put everything in garbage bags. Some if the coffee was packaged in glass. I wish them well, but I will not be donating here again. Oh and I saw people on a second level watching me stand outside.

As I remember years ago and received services myself whether I was homeless or not the womans center really helped all women. Now unless your homeless I was told by the phone receptionist you can't get no help. How careless. It's definitely not LOVE some people needs to learn thre true definition!

I have been supporting the center since last March. I find the volunteers to be super nice, patient and appreciate what I can bring to them.
So far, I have donated during Breast Cancer month - gift bags with items the ladies can use. When I handed them out they were so happy. Today I returned with 30 gift bags with cards for Valentines day. I am blessed and love to help others. I also brought coats, small carry on case I did not need. Please try and help whether by donations of clothing etc or cash.

I'm trying to change my life around and moved to a recovery house. I'm in between jobs and called this place as to if they or knew anyone that could help me pay my back rent before I'm kicked out to the streets in a dangerous atmosphere for someone in recovery. They offered me absolutely no help. No referrals. I then called and asked if my medicine is something they could help me with. This time I was referred to one place however it was closed. So Im not sure what the women center actually helps with. Collecting funds and not doing anything about homelessness or preventing homelessness. It's sad. These non profit organizations are absolutely profiting. And the people in need are still as that, in need. Prayers please and for those donating I'd suggest donating somewhere that it actually will help the community.

My daughter and I visited to drop off some gently used items. The staff was very welcoming and appreciative. They still need winter items so please consider donating to this worthy cause. We will be visiting again soon.
