Security guards are constantly harassed and verbally abused by several tenants. Female guard was punched in the face by a tenant. Many of the cameras have been purposely broken, disabled, and lens sprayed with substance to cloud by tenants. It's an unsafe location.

The security company who was providing "security" at this building for the past several months stole my brand new e-scooter which I had been saving up to be able to buy for 2 years! I depend on my e-scooter to get me around safely with all the broken roads in LA. The scooter had special suspension and wheels to be able to traverse over rough roads, uneven pavement, etc. On July 14th the elevator here at my building "The Six" was out-of-service. The last time the elevator was out of service it was out for 2 MONTHS! We have people here who are in wheelchairs! Several of us residents pitched in to help those in need to manage until the elevator was fixed.

So when I found out the elevator was out of service again! I knocked on the offices downstairs where security is locked inside 24/7. They ALWAYS have someone inside there and the doors are never unlocked or left wide open. It is a secured aarea . I told them I can't carry this heavy scooter up those narrow stairs, and my back has several damaged discs, i cant lift my scooter all the way up these stairs . The security guard said "no problem, you can leave it in here and nobody will be able to mess with it." The next morning I come down to pickup my scooter and it's GONE!!! The guard on duty has no idea what I'm talking about when I asked where is my scooter. I spoke to and texted the manager of the security firm TRESTON SECURITY. I told him your guards have a chain of command, the next guards shift was to be informed of the situation and why my scooter was there. They were told what unit I was in and if it needed to be moved or anything else to please come knock on my door.

The guard who accepted my scooter that afternoon has never been back to work at this location ever since that day. ... although I heard he still employed by TRESTON SECURITY. All I want is for my scooter to be returned to me. that's is all.... TRESTON SEFURTIY you are responsible for this entire situation. If you aren't even able to watch a resident's scooter for 1 nigh due to a building malfunction, then what are they paying you to do here You have FAILED TO PROVIDE THE SECRUTY THEY HAVE BEEN PAYING YOU FOR ALL THESE MONTHS.

I have had over 8 FedEx/ UPS packages stolen when they were signed for by someone downstairs. Only to find out it's a made up name on the signature, and none of the security staff knows where my package is.

The cameras here were told to me to be recording 24/7 as indicated in my lease. There are placards posted around the building informing residents and others that Suveillance Cameras are recording 24/7. I have asked numerous times for the cameras to be reviewed to find out where my packages are, I was told each time that TRESTON SECURITY wasn't able to pull up any video, etc. Then who can pull up the video? And why haven't you contacted them to do so? I requested this several times before my scooter was ever stolen.

This is my last effort before I go BIG and start contacting the media, LA news outlets, HACLA housing authority, and the Department of Professional Regulation who licenses security companie.

TRESTON SECURITY, you are hereby put on notice that if my property is not returned to me, then the amount of my purchase shall be refunded to me by you. The total was $5,575.48

If neither of these things occur, I will be contacting the local news outlets to inform them of your business's underhanded operations. I will also contact the VA Department of Veteran's Affairs as this building is owned by Veterans and you haven't been providing them with the security that they have paid for.

Finally, I will contact BUREAU OF SECRUTY & INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES to file my complaint and report this incident.

CONTACT Detective Flores with LAPD / Rampart division who has been assigned this case.
Return my property to him, or leave him a check for $5,575.48.. I will give you 1 week to complete this. I have been overly patient. My patience has expired.

THIS IS YOUR LAST NOTICE.
