This location was awesome. We were cleaning out an apartment and had some items to donate. The. Normal charity that we donate to was closed so we called this site. They were happy to help us and take the. Items. I think they made special arrangement for us. John and Mai ( hope I spelled your name correctly forgive me if I didn’t. charge it to my head and not my heart) were awesome!

I have been familiar with the Salvation Army's good work for many years. Though some of their beliefs can be controversial to some people, what has to be remembered is their overall goodness and continued efforts to help people who are poor, disenfranchised, down on their luck, and those having problems with substance abuse.

I first became acquainted with this location in 2008, where I received assistance with food and paying my electric bill. In addition, I was hired as a bell ringer back then, where the shift schedule was very challenging, and involved standing for many hours. But, I really enjoyed the role of "Spreader of Christmas Cheer" That job was a real life saver for me. I moved to another area for a few years, but now I'm finding myself returning to this location for continued assistance.

Lts. David and Sharron are full of energy and compassion. They love kids and have offered an amazing children's program there full of many opportunities. The social worker Lily is truly amazing! She flies around doing a million things, but takes the time out to really listen and try to help. The other staff are very friendly and helpful too!

I love the new building! It offers so many opportunities to the community: a preschool program, an exercise group, church services, music program for the kids, and many others.

You can get food as often as you need it too. They offer other resources to people in need as well.

This place does not carry junk. There are many items which are closeout merchandise from major stores that have moved on to new products. You can get excellent items in original perfect shape at prices as low as 10% of what they would have been a year ago! Don't miss your chance checking this place out.

This SALVATION army is very good and the staff is very nice too....My granddaughter use to go to pre-school there and the teacher Miss Lily was great . My granddaughter just loves her and remembers her too. It was a good experience for her.

Demolished in July 2015. Temporarily closed. Currently (Aug 2016) in construction of Salvation Army's new social services building and church.
