Do not donate to this organization. When I did not have a place to stay as a veteran they denied me being able to apply to stay because I was staying in an airbnb because no places accepted cash. In town you can't get an apartment without paystubs and I was too injured to work transitioning out the army. The process they want you to apply for the homeless shelter is disgusting they want you to fill out forms and wait months to be approved. They also want you out in the cold in the streets to be eligible.

The salvation army has changed within these past few years, and the new cooks in the salvation army are amazing, The cooks Nicole an Shasaline are awesome! The food is no longer bare minimum, and everything is so much cleaner, Thank you to the amazing cooks and staff.

Worse place ever, I’m homeless and was told after I watch a woman who fed us spaghetti almost 3wks ago and then started handing out surprise what she called it which was chipotle. She as an employee or volunteer walked upto a woman who comes there on a regular basis to get food in a white suv claiming she has all these children get all these trays of food for her and her kids but they are never with her and by the time we get there, there is no food. There is also man who comes in a black Mercedes saying his family is in the car and he gets several trays with no one in the car but him. By the time For those of us who has walked from by the library to get there by 4:30, 4:45p the food is either with 5 trays left belonging to residents or they no longer have any. Fayetteville really needs to do better. We are still human at the end of the day. Please hire better people to run your offices. This place will be exposed

My name is Darren Greene I am a current resident at salvation army I have had a hard time trying to adjust to being homeless but they gave me more than I could ask for a roof over my head and a lot of opportunity services to assist me in finding my own place and I really appreciate everything they've done for me The staffing has been a big help all I had to do is keep them aware of what I was doing what I was trying to accomplish and they supported me all the way through. They provided me with the proper resources to help me along the way. If you are homeless this is the place to start. Thank you Darren Greene

I hear alot of bad things about this facility let me start by saying these people are homeless not prisoners or any thing beneath that. The rule are not consistent the some of the staff are unprofessional as in the way the talk to individuals. Paperwork isn't properly handled. Individuals coming in inebriated . Honestly I'd definitely expect more from the Salvation Army and its Shelter

Instead of checking to see about a voucher that was send over.She didn't even let us in or check to see if she received our referral instead she went outside to meet up with her guy in a blue. Camero. Wasted two hours of my time today Especially coming from your own kind . Some people get these positions and really not their for the people they get big headed and look down on others

If you don't have a warrant and you don't have anything to bad on your record. They'll start you with a cot in the kitchen with different people. Then they'll transition you into the living area wether it's women Man or family. Now be aware of your belongings cuz people are the same everywhere. Or get a spot where the camera is. If they have any openings inside the living area you'll be in the kitchen until then. Stay safe 🙏🏽💖🙏🏽 and Blessed.
