We the family went to Boon nc for family get to gather.
This will be the first time I've ever been to a Church like this.
It wasn't that it was so dark I couldn't see anything, it wasn't everyone I meet were friendly. It was the Holy Spirit! If your visiting nc and have a chance to visit, The Rock, I would strongly recommend it. I'm 58 and old school from SC and sorry to say I felt a little uneasy when I 1st walked in, and not to say the other churches wouldn't have encountered the Holy spirit.. but it was truly a blessing to me and all the others there Young and Old.. We joined the Rock about 3.5 years ago and have grown in community with our Pastor, his family and the people that attend the church.

The Rock is a non-denominational church that brings people together from all walks of life. Every person there has a great testimony to share about how they came about attending the Rock as well as why they are still there.

Our Pastor and his wife are VERY passionate about people and their spiritual health, they will go out of their way to help you in any way they can and are always open and willing to pray for you, encourage you and guide you through a challenging season of life.

I’m thankful for our church, the word that is preached and the people that make the church. We appreciate our Pastor, Michael and how he is able to bring the word to life and share how the Holy Spirit is using him to share the Bible and it’s teachings.

I highly recommend the Rock and would welcome anyone looking for a church to grow and be challenged in their faith to make a strong stand for Jesus - Amen!

A come as you are atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable with friendly and inviting members and "staff" and a loving and powerful sermon as well. I love this church and if you're looking for a new church family they really know how to make you feel welcome.

This gem of a church plant was an awesome find for our family while we were vacationing in Boone, NC. We attended the 9am service where we were greeted immediately by church volunteers who made my family and me feel very welcomed.

We filled out a brief information card as first time guests, and then had some (free!) coffee. We registered our girls in children's ministry effortlessly. We have a 7 and 6 year old who stayed in the elementary aged-ministry and a 4 and 2 year old who went to the nursery. All four children said they wished we would be vacationing one more Sunday so we could return to The Rock! The kids all felt safe and had fun. Only downside is the older children felt they didn't get fed spiritually as much as they're used to. They just watched a cartoon Bible story. This ministry may do small groups or discussions and it's possible this was just a different week. We'll have to return to find out!

Service was short - just over one hour including worship. A small, contemporary band played a praise song and two worship songs. I hope to not embarrass her, but there was an older lady rocking out on an electric guitar that was pretty good! This ministry seems to be able to speak to all ages.

The lead pastor (pictured) was very friendly. Before service, we had a great conversation about church planting. He spoke on achieving greatness after praise and worship. It was a great message. I learned, specifically, an awesome tidbit on Paul's time incarcerated while writing Philippians. Of course, he would want to get out of jail to talk to a larger audience with a bigger platform, but God had a bigger plan for him - a plan where he would write a letter in jail that would reach billions of people later. Awesome to see how sometimes our seemingly crappy circumstances are a part of God's awesome plan for us!

I would highly recommend this church to any Boone residents, but also would encourage all visitors (like us) to make The Rock their temporary church while on vacation!

From entry to exit, God's presence is felt here. Our Lord shines His light through all volunteers and staff members at the Rock. So simple to drop our child off before entering the sanctuary and worshiping, followed by a strong biblically supported message from Pastor Mike. We aren't residents in Boone but make it a point to go here when we visit on a Sunday 🙏

An excellent church situated in a cozy little spot. There are tons of amazing people here and everyone is so friendly. This is one of the most amazing churches I’ve ever been to.

I was in Boone while on a short vacation and always like to attend church wherever I travel to. Love this church! From the time I walked in I was greeted with geniune love. Pastor Mike preached an awesome message and the praise team is amazing. If Iived here this would be my church. I'll be back for another visit soon.

I’ve been in a few times and Rebecca has been my bartender everytime. She’s absolutely, hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had and I’ve drank all over the globe. She made my time there totally awesome! I also met the new manager Amelia and she was equally awesome by playing all my favorite music requests! I highly recommend this place.
