The Marian Cheek Jackson Center is a Northside non-profit organization dedicated to the stability and advancement of the Northside Chapel Hill Community. I urge anyone and everyone who is a resident of Chapel Hill to take advantage of their open door policy. To visit this community center and learn some of the amazing history surrounding this proud black community. Dive into the walking tour and listen to the stories of the residents who have lived their entire lives in the homes they still occupy. The Marian Cheek Jackson Center is a gift to the Northside Community and the town of Chapel Hill.

They can always use some volunteers for food delivery and pickup and other activities. A great way to help out and get involved in the community. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend volunteering with this organization.
