We attended a 2 hour class here to make a dragon eye. It was so creative and fun and a great atmosphere. The instructor was helpful but also gave us plenty of creative freedom. We will definitely attend another class and are thrilled to have a place to do art in WF. They also offer clay, drawing, painting, senior day, teen class, and memberships for workspace.

Had a great time talking to everyone there. The gallery looks really good. Every time I come I meet new people. Thankyou for including us in your gallery. Whatever I can do to make the next show (Retro Rock) bigger and better I want to do. Larry suggested trying to get us mentioned on some oldies, classic Rock radio station to bring more art entries and buyers. Loved your mom and your beautiful daughters and your brother.

Just had the best experience here! We did a mug making pottery class and it was so relaxing. They provided coffee, had chill music, and a laid back atmosphere. Really enjoyed our instructor too. Highly recommend trying some classes out! We can’t wait to come back soon!!

I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere at The Makery. The space is so welcoming and full of beautiful art that rotates out each month. I have truly enjoyed working out of this space. Definitely a wonderful asset to Wake Forest and the art community!

The Makery took care of every detail of our painting class and provided a comfortable, well-paced instructional setting that resulted in a completed painting in under 2 hours! It was fun getting our creative on with a group of folks who expressed their differing visions of the prompt - we plan on returning for more.

The instructor, Carla, was great and she came around to each "student" to make sure they were understanding her directions for starting a chain and then doing the single crochet stitch. I am looking forward to the next class!
