Beautiful setting. Our room faced the inlet and ocean. Friendly and Very accommodating staff. |Easy drive from the east bay.|Room was spacious and comfortable.|My favorite part was having the fire place in the room. Lodge supplies presto logs for free for the fire place. We ordered room service from Drakes Restaurant on site. Very good food.|We also ate breakfast in the morning at Drakes which was delicious!!!

We chose a brief get-away here after the chaos of politics. It was just a perfect stay! The weather really cooperated, sunny days and cool nights. We love one of the cozy separate suites right by the pool which are nice and roomy and quiet. We dined several times at Drakes and the food and service were both excellent. No downsides except we had to leave. We will definitely be coming back again.

For our 30th Anniversary, we took a road trip that included Bodega Bay and this spot was amazing. From the pictures, the campus exceeded expectations and was just so happy with our stay. The pool and spa area were really lovely, sorry I hadn't booked any spa-treatments (next time for sure). Every person we met in Drake's and the fireside bar area were all so lovely - can't wait to return.

We have stayed here 3 times and have always had an amazing experience. The grounds are so serene and the views are gorgeous. Nothing beats waking up to that ocean breeze. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Everyone in service is so kind and accommodating. This last time they let us check in early so we could get ready for a wedding in our room. Our dinner at the restaurant was fantastic and we took our dessert back to the room and ate it in front of the fire. Oh yeah, and the hot tub is huge and also has a great view. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I don’t think anywhere else in Bodega Bay compares.

Views are amazing, rooms are very spacious. ||Some items could be tweaked, rooms smell musky - rooms are by the ocean, found some linens with stains, heater is a bit loud, missing items (umbrella on the first day which we wouldn’t really care but it was downpour when we arrived), towels could be updated and service for insignificant things were inconsistent (sometimes pillow chocolates).||Pool area was amazing - hot tub a little small, wooden seating areas with fire pits was nice, tea/coffee in the mornings at the lobby was good quality, some scheduled hotel events mostly around the weekend, only had breakfast once at Drakes food was average coffee way too strong and overpriced. Rooms were clean, patio was a good size. Robes were plush and warm. Room slippers were handy. Water in the room everyday. Staff are friendly and polite. Sleep machine was awesome! ||I would suggest getting your sundries before arriving to Bodega Bay as everything is overpriced.||Safe travels!

What a magical place. The perfect spot on the coast and with the luxury and care you'd want for a special vacation with friends and family, or even as a solo traveler! The activities were great and the food could not have been better even if a Michelin 4 star.

Very special hotel in Bodega Bay. We stayed in their captain's quarters and it was such a beautiful room. We were there to celebrate a 40th birthday and the experience exceeded all of our expectations.
The hotel has a quaint spa with great services, wine tastings in the game room attached to the main lobby, a pool, bikes you can borrow and peaceful trails down to the water.
I can't wait to come back here again.
